I've been trying hard for weeks now to figure out a cute simply gradient design. I have to say I'm not good at gradient designs I've never been good at blending the colors together on my nails I can do it on my eyes easy just not nails. So I was online yesterday and saw a tutorial that sokolum79 did on YouTube and thought it was so cute and unique. It was a nail tutorial inspired by the nail art Emma Watson was wearing in Elle UK 2011. The best thing about this nail design is you only need two colors a dark color and a light one, and it's a very simply and cool look. It also gave me a chance to try out my new polish Revlon's Lilac Pastelle, which I love now.
@ Amber Joy Thank you. I really wanna try this manicure in blue next. Yeah I'm very lucky because I was in the house right before it was robbed but thank god I wasn't hurt.
This is super cool! I just wound up on a little adventure through You Tube and can't wait to try this technique in so many different colours! Thanks for nominating me BTW. :)
I recently got OPI sweetheart & I'm going to get CND oil slick today. I LOVE the midnight blue base of oil slick & I'm hoping the thinning/fading effect of this technique will help me enjoy it! : )
Very cool! I'll have to try this, I happen to have both of the colors you used. Your nails look great!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I read your other post that your house was robbed, I'm so sorry, that just sucks. But thankfully you weren't hurt.
